How do I heat Pot & Ladle ready-to-eat meals?
You can heat the contents in:
A microwave-safe bowl (2–3 minutes)
A pan on the stovetop (3–5 minutes)
A hot water bath if using retort packaging
Always ensure the food is heated thoroughly before servin
Do your ready-to-eat meals contain preservatives?
No. Pot & Ladle ready-to-eat meals contain no added preservatives. Our products are carefully prepared and packed using modern food processing techniques to ensure safety, quality, and shelf stability while preserving authentic flavour.
What is the shelf life of your ready-to-eat products?
Pot & Ladle ready-to-eat products have a shelf life of 12 months from the date of manufacture when stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Please refer to the packaging for the exact “Best Before” date.
Is there any nutritional loss in ready-to-eat meals?
Pot & Ladle ready-to-eat meals are prepared using advanced food processing techniques designed to preserve flavour, safety, and nutritional value. While all cooked foods may experience a small degree of nutrient reduction during processing, the overall nutritional loss is minimal. Our methods are carefully controlled to ensure the meals retain their essential nutrients and authentic taste.
Are Pot & Ladle products vegetarian?
Yes. Our current ready-to-eat range is 100% vegetarian.
All our gravies, kootu, chutneys, and cooking pastes are vegetarian and crafted using carefully selected ingredients inspired by traditional regional recipes.
For bulk or custom orders, we can also develop select non-vegetarian variants such as fish or prawn curries upon request.
Additionally, our cooking pastes are vegetarian bases — you can easily add vegetables or animal protein of your choice while preparing the dish.
Are your meals spicy?
Our dishes reflect authentic regional Indian flavours. Spice levels may vary by product — from mild and comforting to bold and flavourful. Individual product pages indicate the flavour profile.
Can I store the product after opening?
Yes. After opening, transfer any unused portion to an airtight container, refrigerate, and consume within 24–48 hours.
