This Refund & Replacement Policy governs purchases made through www.potandladle.com (the “Website”) operated by Pot & Ladle (“Company”, “we”, “our”, “us”).

By placing an order on our Website, you agree to the terms set forth below.

1. Nature of Products

Pot & Ladle sells ready-to-eat food products that are:

  • Consumable

  • Perishable in nature

  • Hygienically sealed

  • Safety-controlled

Due to food safety regulations and hygiene standards, products once delivered cannot be returned for resale.

2. General Return Policy

2.1 We do not accept returns for ready-to-eat food products once delivered.

2.2 Returns are not permitted for reasons including but not limited to:

  • Change of mind

  • Taste preference

  • Ordering the wrong product

  • Delay caused by courier beyond our control

  • Minor packaging design variations

3. Eligibility for Refund or Replacement

Refunds or replacements will only be considered under the following circumstances:

3.1 Damaged Product

If the product is physically damaged at the time of delivery.

3.2 Incorrect Product Delivered

If you receive a product different from what was ordered.

3.3 Expired Product Delivered

If the product delivered is past its expiry date.

4. Claim Procedure

4.1 All claims must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.

  • Clear photographs of:

    • Outer packaging

    • Inner packaging

    • Batch number

    • Expiry date

    • Visible damage (if any)

4.3 Failure to provide photographic evidence may result in rejection of the claim.

5. Verification Process

5.1 All claims are subject to internal verification.

5.2 The Company reserves the sole right to determine:

  • Validity of claim

  • Eligibility for refund or replacement

  • Mode of compensation

5.3 If approved, the Company may offer:

  • Replacement product
    OR

  • Refund to the original payment method

6. Refund Processing Timeline

6.1 Approved refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days.

6.2 The refund will be credited to the original payment method used at checkout.

6.3 Payment gateway processing timelines may vary depending on banks and financial institutions.

7. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds shall not be provided in the following cases:

  • Incorrect shipping address provided by customer

  • Delivery failure due to unavailability of recipient

  • Refusal to accept delivery

  • Minor leakage or packaging dent that does not compromise food safety

  • Consumption of product before raising complaint

8. Order Cancellation Policy

8.1 Orders may be cancelled only before dispatch.

8.2 Once the order has been dispatched, cancellation requests will not be accepted.

8.3 If cancellation is approved before dispatch, the refund will be processed to the original payment method within 7 business days.

9. Limitation of Liability

In all cases, the Company’s liability shall be limited to the purchase value of the specific product in question.

The Company shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect damages

  • Health issues arising from improper storage

  • Loss due to delay by courier partners
